Session 6: Leadership in the Creative Industries

The workshop by Phil Douglas will explore leadership in the arts and culture sector. An open discussion around leadership styles and approaches, their impact and how our own values can underpin, inform or be in conflict. We will share what “good leadership” means to us and identify generative behaviours and principles to build trust and resilience whilst navigating challenges of leadership in the creative sector..

This is in partnership with the Culture and Creative Investment Programme, delivered by Creative UK and funded by the North East Combined Authority.

Forward Freelancing is dance focused, but the programme is open to support any early career freelancer or creative business within the performing arts.

All participants MUST be registered freelancers/creative business with UTR code.
