Join me and the team as we heat up the studio and prepare for R&D of new creation: LoonHeads: sketched supported by an array of music genres and guided improvisation we will explore movement which is rich in texture and full of character. Diving into set material we will dissolve in and out of the floor, embracing the energy and sweat along the way. Throughout the week class will be led by members of the team including myself, Daisy Dancer, Ella Roberts and Andrew Scott.

About the teacher

Orla is a freelance dance artist and choreographer. Since graduating from London Contemporary Dance School in 2022, Orla has performed with companies including Scottish Dance Theatre and Tom Dale Company. Throughout her career she has also worked with artists such as Sofia Nappi, Roser Lopez Espinosa and Botis Seva amongst others. Choreographically, she is interested in contrasting the light and dark, drawing on film, psychological theories and human experience to support her creations. Her work has been performed at venues including The Place and South-East Dance.
